Sound Orb

Sound Orb is an app created in Processing.org that visualizes any song or audio file in detailed rings of color. Every song has a unique orb, and patterns in the music can be easy identified in the orb. Behind the scenes, code in Processing uses an FFT algorithm to split the audio into frequency bands, then colors and weight are applied to those bands, which iterate out based on song duration. In the future, users will be able to choose their favorite songs visualized onto prints, clothing, or vinyl records.
